What is included in a basic medical alert system package?

Our basic package includes a low voltage control console with two-way voice communication, power supply, back up battery, and (1) wireless remote medical alert device, either a waterproof wristband, pendant, hand held, or clip on device. The system requires active telephone service for communication.  Additional devices such as, smoke detectors, motion sensors, door/window contacts, and additional personal alert notification devices can be added.

Is there a charge for the basic equipment package?

We offer two Linear products, the 2400A and 3600B.  The 2400A is priced at $199.95 and includes the first year of 24/7 monitoring.  No charge for shipping.  Sales taxes not included.  No term contract.  One year warranty.

The 3600B is more robust and comfortably supports numersou other additional equipment pieces.  There are charges for any additional equipment pieces, such as:  smoke detector, waterproof pendant, motion sensors, etc.  The unit sells for $299.95 and ships with a wireless wall mounted emergency button.  24/7 monthly monitoring fees are $13.95, billed quarterly.  No term contract. Two year equipment warranty.

Will the system work if I have a wireless phone service, versus a land line?

No, the Linear products require a hard  line or land line service.  Call us to learn more about other alternatives.  877-421-0280.

Do I need to subscribe to a call center dispatch service?

No.  The system can be purchased for about (see shopping cart for specials), plus shipping and handling.  The unit will arrive at your door pre-programmed with the contact phone numbers that are to be called in the event of an emergency.  For example, the unit can be programmed to call your family member,  neighbor, on-site security, 911 emergency services, or your primary care provider.

Are there additional service charges for two-way communications?

No, this is part of the system operation for both Medical Alert and "911 Senior" personal alert systems.
