INTRUSION ALARMS

Burglar alarms for business, home, offices, and more!

Intrusion Alarms ......when a locked door is just not enough.

There are many security professional philosophies regarding intrusion protection, particularly when these discussions address levels of protection, all agree that the the ideal intrusion system provides layers of protection.  This ideal situation would include:

  • Complete perimeter protection
  • Second layer of defense-complete interior protection
  • Audible and visable notification devices: loud siren-strobes
  • All mounted devices properly tampered
  • 24/7 UL monitoring services
  • Back-up cellular communication support for land line communicators

Let's review a few of the above mentioned discussion points:

USA Security Net consultants strongly recommend combining both hard wired devices with wireless devices when installation access is available.

Types of systems:  hard wired alarm, wireless, and combination of both hardwired and wireless alarm devices.

Complete perimeter protection for all buildings, which include:

  • All doors and windows, roof hatch and basement level egress doors/windows.  Perimeter protection devices:
    • Door contacts
    • Overhead door contacts
    • Glass breaks
  • Interior protection
    • Motion detectors
    • Pressure mats
  • Personal protection
    • Hand held wireless panic devices
    • Hold-up buttons
    • Enable panic keys on alarm keypad either audible or silent
  • Sirens/Strobes (recommend at least 10db)
    • Outdoor weather resistant
    • Interior sirens, siren/speakers
  • Tamper switches on devices
    • keypads
    • motion detectors
    • alarm panels
    • sirens/strobe
    • wall mounted glass break sensors
    • wireless receivers
    • power supplies
    • phone/communication lines
  • 24/7 UL monitoring services
    • daily communication test
    • event reporting
    • supervised open/close report
  • Land line protection
    • dual phone line
    • cellular back up support

We have prepared an intrusion alarm instructional guide and work book that provides a detailed overview regarding:  system troubleshooting, adding/deleting devices, system upgrades, and  design planning for new systems.

Combining intrusion detection with electronic door access provides gatekeeper monitoring.  Entry/exit access is recorded providing a timetable for both entry and exit.  Access levels can be adjusted to allow access into one area of the building, but not another.  For example:  Limiting access to certain high security areas such as: phone rooms, electrical rooms, computer data closets, can be made available to a select few.  In addition, cameras with built-in motion detection can be also be wired into the alarm intrusion control panel, sending alerts to a monitoring facility when activated, while at the same time recording the activity for later review, or sending a live feed via an IP camera to the central station operator station.

Planning a system configuration takes time and thought.  Sure, basic alarm packages provide some protection, but why cut corners?  Let our consultants help you analyze the tradeoffs.
