Combining intrusion detection with electronic door access provides gatekeeper monitoring.  Entry/exit access is recorded providing a timetable for both entry and exit.  Access levels can be adjusted to allow access into one area of the building, but not another.  For example:  Limiting access to certain high security areas such as: phone rooms, electrical rooms, computer data closets, can be made available to a select few.  In addition, cameras with built-in motion detection can be also be wired into the alarm intrusion control panel, sending alerts to a monitoring facility when activated, while at the same time recording the activity for later review, or sending a live feed via an IP camera to the central station operator station.
